When you join Redwood Empire Golf & Country Club, you are joining a family. The members of Redwood Empire are committed to making the Club their home away from home.

The atmosphere is welcoming and warm, and you will usually find a friend or neighbor walking the halls of the clubhouse or out on the course. We want you to feel at home at Redwood Empire, and our first-rate facilities and impeccable service will keep you coming back time after time.

Redwood Empire offers a variety of membership options to suit the needs of families and individuals in the Humboldt County area. As such, we feel confident that there is a membership plan to suit you. member classes

The amount of the initiation fee, other than stock purchase in Van Duzen Land & Development Company, shall be set by the Board of Directors. The following classes of membership are available:

  • Family - Includes spouse and single dependent children through the age of 20. Age limit extends through the age of 23 if the depentent child is a full time student.

  • Single Person - An individual membership for persons who have attained at least age 26, are not married and no dependent children living with them. Monthly dues are 75% of Family Monthly Dues.

  • Senior Single - An individual membership for persons age 65 or older who are not married and have no dependent children living with them and have been a member of the Club for at least five years (60 months). Monthly dues are 50% of Family Monthly Dues.

  • Junior - An individual membership for persons age 12 through 25 who are not married and who have no depentent children living with them. Fifty percent (50%) of the current initiation fee is due with the application and the monthly dues are 50% of the Family Monthly Dues. Upon attainment of age 26 the member must have a share of Van Duzen Land & Development stock or pay fifty percent (50%) of the then current initiation fee to maintain membership.

  • Social - Entitles member to all Club privileges and use of the swimming pool. Golfing privileges includes one day per month per family member. Golfing more than one day per month will require payment of the regular green fee each time of play. Monthly dues are 50% of Family Monthly Dues.
